Subscription Guidelines

Here are some of the guidelines that we ususally suggest to authoresses:

If possible, the manuscript should not exceed 16.000 signs (approximately 8 pages in IHRSINN).
Titles in-between (subheadings) make a text more comprehensible.

The text should be without any format, for example
  • no titles in bold
  • no different typefaces
  • no fixed hyphens in a word. (As we would translate your text, the more detailed format guidelines don't really apply.)
  • Special terms or quotations stand out in italics.
  • Footnotes are printed at the bottom of each page.

The bibliography is put up in the following way:

BEAUVOIR, Simone de: Das andere Geschlecht, Reinbek b. Hamburg 1960
